Begin your marriage with a blessing
Pastor Tim officiates weddings in our sanctuary and at appropriate off-site locations. Before the ceremony, he meets with each couple several times to plan the service, get to know them, and offer guidance as their plans unfold.
Couples are welcome to bring readings and personal touches that are meaningful to them. Please plan well in advance, since Pastor Tim's schedule fills quickly.

Welcomed into the family of faith
Both infant baptism and believer's baptism are part of our tradition. Baptisms take place during a regularly scheduled service, so the congregation can gather around the person being baptized.
Beforehand, Pastor Tim meets with the parents or the person being baptized to talk about the meaning and purpose of baptism. You don't need to be a member, though we hope baptismal families will consider becoming part of this faith community.

Comfort in times of loss
Croton Falls Community Church is always open to members and non-members for funeral and memorial services. Pastor Tim can also lead services at a funeral home. Please plan the date and time with him, since his schedule is limited.
Fellowship Hall is available for a reception after the service.

Common questions
What does it cost?
Pastor Tim believes the church is here to serve the community, so there are no set fees. There are suggested guidelines for use of the church, the clergy honorarium, and the organist, and Pastor Tim will share them when you first meet.
Do we need to be members?
No. Our doors are open to anyone seeking the services of the church.
How far ahead should we reach out?
For a wedding, as early as you can, since several planning meetings come before the ceremony. For a baptism, reach out ahead of time so we can schedule a preparation meeting and choose a Sunday. For a funeral, call as soon as you're able and we'll do our best to help.
Can Pastor Tim officiate somewhere other than the church?
Yes. He officiates weddings at appropriate off-site locations and leads services at funeral homes, depending on his schedule.
Can I ask the church to pray for someone?
Always. Our church family stands ready to lift up your joys and concerns. Send a prayer request.
